Service Dog Programs

Our service dog programs are tailored to meet the individual needs of your disability. Your dog’s training will be focused on building reliable tasks such as alerting you to a medical episode, helping you in and out of your wheelchair, and/or guiding you to a safe location. Each dog and handler team is unique, so their training programs should reflect that. Your dog will help mitigate your day to day difficulties, as well as improve your overall quality of life. Pricing varies due to the individualized nature of the programs.

Hearing Assistance

These dogs are task-trained to help their hearing-impaired handler “hear” the world around them. These dogs can alert their handler to someone trying to speak to them, alarms going off, noises from a cell phone, vehicles approaching, and much more. They provide their handler with the sense of awareness that hearing provides to the general population. Contact us to learn more about getting your hearing aid dog.

Medical Alert

These dogs are task trained for people with a medical condition which can be mitigated by an alert to changes in human odor. They will be taught to alert to your medical disability using scent samples gathered during an episode. Your dog will be able to warn you before an episode occurs so you can take the necessary steps to mitigate it. A Diabetic Alert Dog would alert their handler to either a high or low in their blood sugar. An Allergen Alert Dog would check products or foods for the substance their handler is allergic to. These dogs can be taught to do many other tasks, but medical alert is a key skill to help their handler manage their condition. Your medical alert service dog’s training is tailored to your needs. For conditions, such as PTSD or anxiety, the dog may take on a more active role during a crisis. He may retrieve medication, move you to a less overwhelming environment, or do deep pressure therapy. Other tasks can be taught to the dog to help with the entirety of the disability, but each dog's training is tailored to meet the exact needs of their handler. Mitigating mobility issues comes in many forms. Services provided by our dogs include, but are not limited to: item retrieval, wheelchair transfers/general use, opening/closing doors, assistance when standing/sitting, forward momentum while walking, and balance while walking. There are many tasks they can be taught to help with the entirety of any disability, but each dog's training is tailored to meet the exact needs of their handler. Psychiatric Aid

These dogs are task-trained for people with psychiatric or developmental conditions including, but not limited to, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and/or Autism. Your Psychiatric Aid Service Dog will be taught to alert you to an oncoming episode, provide Deep Pressure Therapy, block strangers from your space, disrupt ticks/self-harming behaviors, and/or guide you to a safe place. For children with autism or down syndrome, these dogs can be taught to retrieve a wandering child or be a tether between the child and their parent. This allows parents to safely take their child into public spaces without having to worry about them getting lost. These dogs are tailored to your needs to best help overcome your unique challenges. Contact us to learn more about getting your psychiatric aid dog.

Visual Assistance

These dogs are trained to guide their handler in new or public spaces. They find doorways, elevators, and thier handler’s key places. Their handler is given the ability to safely navigate spaces that would otherwise be difficult or dangerous such as areas with traffic, construction, or stairs. These dogs give many back the independence they have lost or never had. Contact us to learn more about getting your visual assistance dog.
